Deconstructing ‘Haath Varthi’ Part 1: Melody, Ambiance & Bass

KSHMR opens up his project for 'Haath Varthi' - his collab with MC Stan and Phenom, to reveal the details of how he built out the track. This lesson begins by KSHMR showing us how he took a sample from Sounds of KSHMR Vol. 4 and worked it into the key melodic element driving the production. He reveals how he used distortion, reverb, pitching and other readily available tools and techniques to keep the production interesting. KSHMR examines how he made the bass using Serum and automation within the DAW. The production was done in Ableton, but KSHMRs techniques can be applied in most DAWs including FL Studio and Logic. This is the first of a four-part Lessons of KSHMR on 'Haath Varthi'.
